The Mother Of All Hompages

Get Microsoft Internet Explorer

A Brief Explanation For First-Timers:

Welcome to the, glad you could make it. Here is an overview to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

So what is the, anyway?
Glad you asked. It's an experience like none you've ever had before, taking you on a journey of body and soul like no, never mind. Here are the basics:

FRONT DOOR: This is the first page you open up to. It serves as a gateway to the rest of the site, and as home to some more frequently-used resources (including a link to this page).

The navigation bar that you see now on the left of this text remains in place for most pages within the site, making it easy to move quickly from one page to any other. If you're using Internet Explorer 4.0 or above, you'll notice that you can expand or collapse each category's links simply by clicking on the button for that category.

The site itself is divided into three major areas: Personal, Professional, and Links. We'll go through them one at a time

PERSONAL: This is the sub-area of the site that holds all of my personal info. It includes:
  • Bio: My life story and current news--check it every now and then to see what I'm up to.
  • Contact Info: How to get in touch with me.
  • Coursework: Classes I've taken at Penn.
  • Family History: A comprehensive family history web site
  • Favorites: A collection of some of my favorite things in various categories.
  • Friends: A list of links to friends' pages.
  • Photos: Some photos of myself, family, and friends.

There are a few pages in this area that have sub-pages not included on the standard nav-bar. For example, my Shih-Tsu, Jilly, has set up her own page linked to from my "bio" page.
PROFESSIONAL: Here's where the "professional" me lives. This area currently has just two links: LINKS: Here is a collection of some of of my favorites/bookmarks, culled from hours of dedicated Web surfing. I've got separate pages for each of the following categories: The entire site should load quickly over a modem, and pages are designed to be viewable in any 640x480 or larger monitor with no horizontal scrolling and a minimum of vertical scrolling. Pages should render cleanly and consistently (though not necessarily identically) in any browser and on any platform.

Please feel free to bookmark this page, and/or use it as your starting page. If you have any requests, comments, complaints, or if you notice an outdated or broken link, please e-mail me at Your feedback is important to me; all input is welcome.

Well, that just about covers it. I hope you enjoy my page--come back soon, and let me know what you think.

Happy Surfing,
